Sunday in women’s college hoops the UNI Panthers won and helped fight cancer. The gauntlet was thrown down. For every made three that the UNI women made, head coach Tanya Warren would make a donation for cancer research. Her players made sure she paid up. The Panthers hit 15 to tie a season-high and rolled over Evansville 95-46 at home.
Sunday at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships the UNI men finished 2nd behind Illinois State and the Panther women finished 4th as Illinois State won.
