The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a car pulled over about a mile west of Floyd has led to the arrest of one individual and the citation of another. Upon the Deputy approaching the car he smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the car was then performed, which turned up four handguns along with ammunition. Corey Brown, 27, of Brookings, South Dakota arrested for four counts of a felon in possession of a firearm and four counts of carrying weapons. All four handguns were sent to the Iowa DCI Lab for fingerprint and ballistic testing. Brown is being held on a $25,000 cash bond. The driver of the car was Najwa Wilson, 20, of Brookings, South Dakota. They were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to have a valid driver’s license.
