A head on collision in Floyd County on Saturday sent both drivers to the hospital. 43 year old Curtis Carr of Osage was allegedly travelling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Highway 18 in his Chevy Silverado just after 11:00 p.m. when he collided head on with a Nissan Rogue driven by 18 year old Lilly Moen of Rockford. Both drivers were taken by ambulance to MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City. The Iowa State Patrol reports that both driver’s lives were saved by their seatbelt. The crash remains under investigation.
