High Speed Chase Ends in Drug Arrest

On April 12th, 2024, at approximately 7:13pm, the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office received a report from the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office that they had a deputy who was in pursuit of a black Chevy Impala traveling south on Hwy 63 at a high rate of speed. The Chickasaw County Deputy lost sight of the vehicle, however, the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office located this vehicle continuing south on Hwy 63 near C33 traveling at 126mph. The Bremer County Sheriff’s Office pursued this vehicle south on Hwy 63, through Waterloo, and continued south on I380 for a total approximate distance of 50 miles. Speeds during the pursuit were consistently in excess of 120mph. The driver of the vehicle was subsequently apprehended and identified as Quaddre Phillip White, 24, of Saint Pual, Minnesota. White was found to be in possession of approximately 136 grams of marijuana. White was charged with eluding in excess of 25mph over the posted speed limit (D felony), possession with intent to distribute marijuana (D felony), failure to affix a drug tax stamp (D felony), operating while intoxicated first offense (serious misdemeanor), possession of marijuana first offense (serious misdemeanor), interference with official acts (simple misdemeanor), possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor), reckless driving (non-schedule violation), speed of 126mph in a posted 65mph zone (scheduled violation) and operating without a valid driver’s license (scheduled violation).
