Wednesday at the State Softball Tournament in Fort Dodge on KWAY Country it was 3-seed Clarksville making a big statement as they edged 2-seed Lisbon 1-0 in the State Semi-Finals. Clarksville got their only run of the game in the 5th inning following an Emma Poppe lead-off double, a great bunt by Chloe Ross and an R.B.I. Single from nine-hitter Bailey Myers.
With the win the Clarksville Indians get a rematch Thursday night with Collins-Maxwell who is the only team to beat them this season. Collins-Maxwell beat the Indians 1-0 in extra innings earlier this year.
