4th ranked Iowa will be sending nine wrestlers to the NCAA Championships. Cory Clark, Brandon Sorenson and Sammy Brooks, go in as 2nd seeds. Thomas Gilman who finished third at the Big Ten tournament at 125 dropped to a 4th seed. Iowa’s only unseeded wrestler is Patrick Rhoads at 165.
