The Iowa Baseball team is representing Team USA at the World University Games and has advanced to the Gold Medal Game. The Hawkeyes beat Taiwan 3-0 and the Czech Republic 8-4 to get to the Gold Medal Game. Iowa and Japan started their game at 5:30 Tuesday morning. The Hawkeyes are the first American team ever to medal in this tournament.
Update: Iowa lost to Japan 10-0 and won the Silver medal.
