There will be a couple of street closures in Waterloo beginning Wednesday in preparation for this weekend’s Iowa Irish Fest, according to KWWL. Park Avenue between Mulberry and Franklin Streets and Mulberry Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets will close down today. There will be more road closures Thursday. Fourth Street from Franklin to Sycamore Street and Mulberry Street to Third Street will close. A portion of Sycamore Street in front of Anton’s Garden will also be closed as will Lafayette Street from the parking structure to just south of Fourth Street. Iowa Irish Fest begins Friday and runs through Sunday.
