Wednesday night on Y99.3 in the State Volleyball Semifinals 1-seed St. Ansgar swept 4-seed Dunkerton 25-13, 25-19, 25-22. This was Dunkerton’s first ever trip to the State Tournament.
Wednesday night on KWAY Country 2-seed Janesville swept North Tama 25-19, 25-19, 25-14 to advance to the Class 1A State Championship Match for the first time in seven years.
Wednesday on Y99.3 the 1-seeded Denver Cyclones beat Grundy Center 25-16, 25-17, 19-25, 26-24 to advance to the State Finals. Denver will play Hinton for a Class 2A Championship.
It’s a State Championship Doubleheader Thursday night on Y99.3. Thursday evening at 4:30 listen as Denver plays Hinton for a 2nd straight title in Class 2A. Then at 6:45 Janesville will vie for their 6th championship in 1A as they play St. Ansgar.
