Janesville Thrilled About Bond Passing

On Monday the Janesville School District voted in favor of a bond that would spend $8.6 million on updates to the Janesville High School. That money will go towards 12 new classrooms, a bathroom, a regulation-sized gym, 2 boilers, an air exchange system, and other minor additions.

Janesville Principal BJ Meanie shares the school district’s need for the new space:

The project will be completed in phases with the first phase expected to be completed before the beginning of the 2019 school year.
