In college soccer the Wartburg women soccer team fell to #19 Loras 3-1 in the Iowa Conference Tournament Semifinals. Former Go-Hawk Morgan Neuendorf scored the lone goal for the Knights. The Wartburg women are 10-5-4 on the season.
Wartburg Wrestling was selected to win the Iowa Conference Championship in the inaugural preseason coaches poll. The Knights got all the first place votes and the Wartburg coaches who could not vote for themselves picked Loras to finish first. Wartburg is the defending National Champions and Conference Champs.
The Wartburg women’s basketball team will host Upper Iowa in a charity exhibition game, Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in Levick Arena. Tickets are $6 for adults and $2 for students. The proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief.
