A Jesup man has been sentenced to life in prison for being a repeat child sexual abuser, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 63 year old Clarence Widner was arrested in December of 2019 after he had sexual contact with a 17 year old boy several times against the boys will, once while he was asleep. Widner was sentenced to life without the chance of parole due to two previous convictions. In 1985 Widner had sexual contact with a four year old girl and received probation. In 1994 he fondled a nine year old girl and was sentenced to five years in prison.
