Union High School’s head football coach, Joe Hadachek, is one of the top three contenders for the nation-wide competition of “Most Valuable Coach”. With only a few days left to vote and up against much larger schools, Hadachek has dropped to third place. This final “push” is in hopes to rally other Iowans to cast a vote to help Hadachek earn one the top two spots for Most Valuable Coach.
The final phase of voting is now through November 18 for the top 15 coaches. From this round, only the top two coaches who receive the most online votes will be declared the winners and will be honored in January on ESPN during the Under Armour All-American Game. In addition, the high school of the top two winners will each receive $5,000. To vote go to themostvaluablecoach.com
