While the nearly $760 million Powerball jackpot was won by a player in Massachusetts, three tickets were sold in Iowa for the measly prize of $50,000. One of those tickets was sold at the Kwik Star in Evansdale.

Mahan says the store was very popular in the build up to the drawing. They sold 300 tickets alone on Wednesday evening. Iowa Lottery players bought more than $4.7 million in Powerball tickets.
