University of Northern Iowa assistant volleyball coach Kalani Mahi has decided to step down after 15 years in the program. Mahi served as an assistant under Petersen for 15 seasons. In that time the Panthers amassed a 374-131 record. Mahi has assisted in the development of 57 All-Conference Team members and 12 American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Americans. Since joining the team the Panthers have made nine MVC Tournament finals with six championships while making the NCAA Tournament 11 times.
