Man Arrested After Police Find Child in Home with Drugs & Feces

A Waterloo man was arrested on Monday in connection with the search of a home in March that found a one year old child living amongst drugs and animal feces, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The search at 422 Dane Street turned up K2 synthetic marijuana on the floor, a digital scale, and other items. It also found animal feces and piles of bagged trash in nearly every room in the home. 24 year old Dontaevius Jones has been charged with Child Endangerment and first degree Harassment for allegedly threatening to shoot a female. He was not charged with any drug offenses. He was released pending trial.
