At 11:00 Wednesday Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced more openings.
Beginning Friday movie theaters, aquariums, zoos, museums, and wedding reception venues can reopen with special restrictions. Also pools can resume lap swim and swimming lessons. Campgrounds can also open bathrooms and other facilities.
Beginning Thursday, May 28th bars can reopen at 50% capacity.
On June 1st school sponsored events and activities can resume. This includes sports like baseball and softball. Although the governor made the announcement today the Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union still have to give the go ahead to the sports of softball and baseball.
