More Pain at the Pump

As you may have noticed if you have had to fill up at the gas pump, prices have gone up in the last week. In Iowa it has risen by 6.7 cents per gallon with the average sitting at $2.22 a gallon. That is still lower that the national average which is $2.31 a gallon. Prices were significantly lower on Sunday than they were a year ago when it was more than 35 cents more expensive. However, it is over 11 cents higher than just a month ago with the national average going up nearly 7 cents per gallon in the last month.
