A mushroom hunter in Waterloo found a dead body over the weekend, according to KWWL. The body was located in the 2200 block of Logan Avenue. The area in which the body was found has been reported as an open field and as a wooded area. Police say the body has been in this location for quite some time. They were unable to say if foul play was suspected. The body will be sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
