Thursday night was the NBA Draft. Markelle Fultz of Washington was taken number one overall by the Philadelphia 76’ers and Lonzo Ball of UCLA went number two to the hometown Lakers. Monte Morris of Iowa State went in the second round at pick 51 to the Denver Nuggets. Also as part of a blockbuster trade the Chicago Bulls sent All-Star Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
