The City of Cedar Falls is that announcing after a four month search that the city will be promoting the current interim chief John Bostwick to the position. Bostwick has been a battalion chief for nearly two decades with the department and has served on the Cedar Falls Fire Department for 36 years, and will officially take over duties as chief on Tuesday, December 20th.
