Update: the IOC has postponed the 2020 games to a date no later than 2021.
The International Olympics Committee is considering postponing the 2020 Toyko Games to 2021. The Olympic flame is currently being transported with little fanfare and no decision has been made but the committee is seriously considering it in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
