Monday night on KWAY Country you heard perfection. Last night the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team beat Waukon 10-0 in 6 innings. Pitcher Payton Leonard of Waverly-Shell Rock had an 8 strike-out perfect game going through 5 innings when he was replaced by Malcolm Newell who finished the perfect game. The Go-Hawks also banged out 12 hits in the win and scored 9 of their 10 runs in the final two innings.
