One person was hit by a bullet in Waterloo on Sunday afternoon, according to KWWL. The person was sitting inside a car in the 300 block of Sunnyside Avenue around 3:45 p.m. when they were struck. Police say the bullet allegedly went through the window and hit the seatbelt before hitting the person’s shoulder. The bullet did not break the victim’s skin. The victim refused medical treatment. The victim’s name was not released. No information regarding a possible suspect was released either. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
