Sheriff’s deputies in Black Hawk County say a person was hit by a car on Tuesday night. Authorities say they were called to the 10000 block of Mark Road in rural Cedar Falls just before 9:00 p.m. for the accident. The person hit was taken to a local hospital via an ambulance, but that person’s condition is not being made public at this time.
Black Hawk County deputies were assisted at the scene by crews from Cedar Falls Fire, Cedar Falls Police and the Iowa State Patrol.
