Sunday the UNI volleyball team picked up their first win of the season defeating the Purple Aces 3-1 with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 21-25, 25-23.
The win put head coach Bobbie Petersen at 510 career wins, surpassing former Missouri State head coach Marissa Stokes as the MVC all-time wins leader.
Sunday the UNI men’s basketball team defeated the Indiana State Sycamores 70-67. UNI now moves to 6-12 on the season and 4-8 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
