The pool at The W in Waverly has been empty as the facility was being updated for the first time in its history.
Heather Zajicek from The W said the pool is currently being filled.
As of Wednesday morning the water was 59 degrees and will need to be warmed to about 80 degrees before chemicals can be added and the pool opened. There is not an opening date for the public yet. Staff hopes to have the pool usable for the Little Tri by Knight this weekend.
