Clarksville Native and American Idol winner Maddie Poppe will be recognized at the opening ceremonies of the Iowa State Fair Thursday morning. Poppe sang her way to the top during Season 16 of American Idol earlier this year. The ceremonies beginning at 9:00 with recognition of the Parade Marshall and Iowa State Fair Queen.
