The Iowa football team secured a verbal commitment from one of the nation’s top running backs on Monday night. Eno Benjamin chose Iowa over a large number of high profile offers. During his junior season at Wylie East High School (TX), Benjamin rushed for 2,652 yards and 41 rushing touchdowns. He tallied 3,035 all-purpose yards. Benjamin, a 4-star prospect, is rated as one of the top 15 running backs in the class of 2017. He’s the ninth commitment for Iowa in that class.
