Tuesday night on KWAY Country Waverly-Shell Rock boys got their second win in a row beating Charles City 57-34. The Go-Hawks got off to a fast start behind Hogan Hansen’s 17 first half points.
Tuesday night the Waverly-Shell Rock girls cruised by Charles City 63-21.
In other boys basketball Tuesday night: Dike-New Hartford beat Aplington-Parkersburg 65-59, Cedar Falls ran by Linn-Mar 85-60, Waterloo Christian beat Clarksville 49-37, Denver outscored Jesup 87-76, North Fayette-Valle beat Nashua-Plainfield 55-33, Sumner-Fredericksburg topped Union 64-50 and Tripoli beat North Tama 64-55.
In girls basketball: Dike-New Hartford slammed Aplington-Parkersburg 63-25, Cedar Falls topped Linn-Mar 58-48, Denver hammered Jesup 70-40, Sumner-Fredericksburg crushed Union 64-26, North Tama beat Tripoli 66-42, Wapsie Valley topped Oelwein 40-37 and Waterloo West beat Cedar Rapids Kennedy 74-47.
