Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock basketball teams each beat New Hampton boy at least 50 points to stay atop the conference standings. In the girls game the 4th ranked Go-Hawks hit 11 3-pointers and Brenna Bodensteiner and Katelyn Eggena each scored 21 points as W-SR won 78-27. In the boys game the 3rd ranked Go-Hawks pulled their starters at halftime after getting up 64-13 and won 77-27.
Tuesday night on Y99.3 Dike-New Hartford swept Columbus. In the girls game the top-ranked Wolverines won 66-24 and the boys game Dike-New Hartford won 54-49.
In other girls basketball Tuesday night: Coach Joe Frost won his 100th game as Denver beat East Marshall 49-14, Clarksville ran over Don Bosco 34-17, Riceville beat Janesville 70-34 and Xavier topped Waterloo West 49-36.
In boys basketball Denver topped East Marshall in overtime 102-96, Don Bosco edged Clarksville 57-55, Dunkerton crushed Tripoli 81-16, Janesville beat Riceville 56-47 and Xavier won over Waterloo West 66-51.
