Monday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock basketball teams swept Waukon. In the girls game the 11th ranked Go-Hawks got a balanced attack to beat the Indians 63-47. In the boys game the Go-Hawk hit 15 3’s and won 88-41 to remain the only undefeated team in Northeast Iowa Conference play.
Monday night on Y99.3 the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels swept the Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars. The Rebel girls won 49-48 as Kennedy Brandt hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer. In the boys game the 3rd ranked Rebels downed the Cougars 68-44.
In other boys basketball Clarksville edged Riceville 60-58.
