Tuesday night on Y99.3 the 2nd ranked Hudson Pirates boys basketball team out of Class 2A gave the Class 1A Dunkerton Raiders their 3rd loss of the season 63-35.
In other boys basketball: Cedar Falls crushed Wahlert 64-44, Gladbrook-Reinbeck beat Columbus 48-39, Denver topped Don Bosco 52-43, Aplington-Parkersburg thumped Wapsie Valley 77-37 and Western Dubuque beat Waterloo West 58-50.
In girls basketball: Cedar Falls ran over Wahlert 71-54, Sumner-Fredericksburg beat Clarksville 70-50, Riceville topped Tripoli 71-44, Aplington-Parkersburg thumped Wapsie Valley 70-29 and Western Dubuque edged Waterloo West 48-41.
