Tuesday night on Y99.3 the Denver Cyclone girls beat Gladbrook-Reinbeck-Grundy Center 2-0 in a game that ended early due to weather. The Cyclones scored early in each half in the win on their senior day.
Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Columbus Sailors edged the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks in overtime 3-2 in a game that featured a long lightning delay. In the first overtime Sailor Ray Seidel scored the golden goal with 4:19 left. Dylan Eggleston and Braden Holmquist scored goals for the Go-Hawks.
In other boys soccer Tuesday night: Cedar Falls blanked Waterloo East 4-0 and Iowa City West beat Waterloo West 4-0.
