Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock volleyball team swept Crestwood 25-14, 25-10 and 25-14. The Go-Hawks served up 12 aces and 35 kills in the win led by Avery Beckett who finished with 11 kills.
Tuesday night on Y99.3 the Denver Cylcone volleyball team edged Waterloo Columbus in 5 sets. The scores were 25-14, 22-25, 25-20, 22-25 and 15-10. Kayla Knowles led the Cyclones with 21 kills to keep Denver undefeated.
In other area volleyball: Cedar Falls swept Wahlert, Clarksville beat GMG in 4, Dike-New Hartford swept Jesup, Central Springs defeated Nashua-Plainfield in 5, Sumner-Fredericksburg beat Hudson in 4, Wapsie Valley topped Aplington-Parkersburg in 4 and Waterloo West beat Hempstead in 4.
