Tuesday night in high school volleyball on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks swept the Oelwein Huskies 25-6, 25-7 and 25-11. The Go-Hawks stay undefeated in conference play. Also, the win was Coach EaVon Woodin’s 1,000th match victory of her career a milestone that no other Iowa volleyball coach has reached.
Tuesday night in volleyball on Y99.3 Grundy Center swept Sumner-Fredericksburg 25-12, 25-11 and 25-15. Grundy Center still has not lost a set all season.
In other area volleyball Tuesday night: Cedar Falls swept Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Janesville swept Grand View Christian and Waterloo Christian, Linn-Mar swept Waterloo West, North Butler beat AGWSR in 4 sets, Osage swept Nashua-Plainfield and Cedar Rapids Xavier swept Waterloo East.
