Tuesday night on Y99.3 in high school volleyball Dike-New Hartford came back to avoid an upset by defeating Sumner-Fredericksburg in 5 sets. The Wolverines were down 14-11 in set 5 before scoring 5 straight to win. Scores were: 25-16, 19-25, 23-25, 25-14, 16-14.
Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock volleyball swept Oelwein. The Go-Hawks won 25-8, 25-19 and 25-13. Jessica Jacobs led the Go-Hawks with 13 kills and Jaz Westmoreland had 4 aces.
