A former president of Wartburg College has passed away. Rev. Dr. Robert Vogel died on Friday. He served as president from 1980-1998. Wartburg College says Vogel is remembered for his unrelenting focus on students and his contagious optimism. A celebration of life will be held on campus during Homecoming and Family Weekend.
