Wednesday on Y99.3 at the Class 1A State Tournament 1-seeded St. Albert Council Bluffs beat 8-seed Dunkerton 42-31. The Dunkerton Raiders were led by Ava Fuelling who had 11 points. The Raiders finished the season with a 17-8 record and only graduate one senior.
In other Class 1A scores: Bishop Garrigan crushed Montezuma 69-31, North Linn edged Gladbrook-Reinbeck 33-29 and Newell-Fonda beat Springville 60-32. In Class 2A Iowa City Regina got by Maquoketa Valley 53-47 and Hinton topped Rock Valley 53-47.
