The City of Waverly has provided an update on the bridges along the Rail Trail. The Cemetery Run Bridge was removed and replaced with twin culverts. It now awaits the sub-contractor doing the concrete work to replace this section of the trail. Then final restoration, grading, and seeding can be completed. The Slemmons Run Bridge deck was successfully poured on Monday. Upcoming work includes backfilling, constructing approaches, and completing all trail connections. Due to the necessary timing process between project tasks, there will not be much activity on this bridge until the middle of next week.
