Waverly Utilities will increase their rates for 2022. In a letter to customers they announced a 3% rate hike. The average residential customer will see a $2.73 increase to their monthly usage charge. The effect of the increase will vary depending on the month, weather, and extent of usage. A rate modification will also adjust the current fixed customer charge by 60 cents. This does not fluctuate with usage or consumption. It is utilized to maintain the distribution lines, transformers, meters, and bill coordination.
