Wednesday night on Y99.3 in Regional softball it was Clarksville overpowering Don Bosco 10-0 in 5 innings. Pitcher Kori Wedeking threw a no-hitter and notched her 1,000th career strikeout during the victory. Chey Behrends smashed a 3 run home run as well. Clarksville will face Starmont Friday night on Y99.3 in the Regional Semi-Finals.
Wednesday night on KWAY Country the Janesville softball team won in an extra inning walk off 6-5 over East Buchanan. The Wildcats trailed 5-2 going into the bottom of the 8th when Chloe Kiene smashed a 3 run home run to tie the game and then 9 hitter Kamryn Umthun got the winning hit with 2 outs. Janesville will play AGWSR on Friday in the Regional Semi-Finals.
In other Regional Softball scores: Waterloo Columbus beat Osage 7-3 and Sumner-Fredericksburg topped Union 9-3.
