The City of Waverly is reminding citizens to make sure their signs are placed on private property. Signage for graduations, yard sales, political, promotional, real estate, or any other activity is not allowed to be in the right-of-way, the typically grassy area between the sidewalk and the road. Signage should also not be placed on city owned property such as at parks and on street signs.
