Wartburg quarterback Matt Sacia has been named a finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy for the second straight year. Of the four finalists for the award given to the best Division III football player in the country Sacia is the only two-time finalist. The other finalists are: quarterback Hayden Bauserman of Shenandoah University in Virginia, runningback LaMar Carswell of Trine University in Indiana and quarterback Jackson Erdman of St. John’s College in Minnesota. The award will be presented at a banquet in Virginia on Friday, December 14th prior to the D-III Championship Game.
