Waterloo police say a suspect is still in the hospital after a shooting Sunday afternoon at the Kwik Star on the 700 block of Broadway Street.
Shortly before three, a man with a gun entered the store and told everyone to get out. When the suspect exited the store, he fired his gun, and officers returned fire. The man was taken to Allen Hospital and is in custody. He is expected to survive. No on else was injured in the incident.
