Tuesday night on KWAY Country the #1 ranked Waverly-Shell Rock soccer team beat Iowa Falls-Alden 4-0 despite being up only 1-0 at halftime to give the Cadets their first loss of the season. Linde Hubbard scored two goals and Daphney Betts and Abby Angell each added a goal. Waverly-Shell Rock is now 5-0 on the season.
Tuesday in high school tennis the Waverly-Shell Rock boys beat Aplington-Parkersburg 6-3.
The Waverly-Shell Rock girls and boys track and field teams had a banner day. The girls won the Ballard Relays and the boys won the Lynx Invite in Webster City.
