Tuesday at the Boys State Basketball Tournament in Des Moines: in Class 2A Monticello edged Mid-Prairie 46-43 and Rock Valley beat Jesup 75-61; in Class 3A Dallas Center-Grimes got by Carroll 65-45, Winterset edged Marion in overtime 81-77, Central DeWitt beat Decorah 67-59 and Davenport Assumption edged Humboldt in overtime 69-65.
Class 4A quarterfinals and Class 1A semifinals will take place Wednesday.
