State Baseball Champions were crowned in all four classes Saturday at Principal Park in Des Moines. In Class 1A Mason City Newman beat Martensdale-St. Mary’s 8-3; in Class 2A Dyersville Beckman topped Kuemper Catholic 9-6; in Class 3A Davenport Assumption blew by Harlan 10-1; and in Class 4A Johnston blanked Dowling 5-0 for the title.
