Selection Sunday impacted teams in the state of Iowa.
On the men’s side Iowa State is a 2-seed and will face South Dakota State on Thursday evening at 6:35. Drake is a 10-seed and will play Washington State Thursday at 9:05. If those two win they will play each other. UNI and Iowa did not make the tournament. Iowa will be a 3-seed in the NIT and will play tomorrow night at 9:00 against Kansas State.
On the women’s side Iowa is a 1-seed and will face the winner of Holy Cross and UT Martin on Saturday at 2:00, Drake is a 12-seed and plays Colorado on Friday evening at 6:00, Iowa State is a 7-seed and will face Maryland on Friday evening at 6:30.
