Student Agrees to Private Mediation Instead of Lawsuit

The Wartburg student who sued the college for losing on-campus time during the pandemic has agreed to proceed to private mediation with the school, according to KCRG. Sydney Warner filed the lawsuit in March of 2021 claiming that the value of remote learning provided by the college was less than the value of the on-campus experience. The lawsuit said Warner paid fees for access to campus facilities and in-person classes and that online courses cost substantially less than in-person classes.
